INTRODUCTION
Oxted Probus is a friendly club where professional and business men who are retired, semi retired or almost retired socialise and chat over lunch whilst keeping the brain active with a speaker after lunch.
The diversity of speakers over the years can be seen in the drop-down lists on our "History" page.
We also organise occasional visits to museums, theatres, country houses, etc.
We currently have over 80 members and new members are always very welcome. Please use the "Contact Us" page to register interest.
The Club meets for lunch at St Peters Hall, High Street, Limpsfield on the THIRD WEDNESDAY in the month,
except August and a special December lunch, which has in recent years been held at the Tandridge Golf Club.
The hall and bar are open from 12.00 midday and the bar closes at 2.30 pm.
Members who wish to attend a lunch must respond to the Membership Secretary’s circular email by 1.00 pm on the Monday before the Wednesday meeting.
Members are encouraged to bring potential new members to a meeting as guests and are required to notify the Membership Secretary by 1.00 pm on the Monday before the meeting. The member is responsible for payment of the guest’s lunch.
Bank transfer is the preferred method for paying lunch fees. Bank details are in the members’ section of the club website and are included in the Membership Secretary’s monthly email. Cash payments can be made to the Treasurer at the meeting. Cheques are discouraged.
Members attend at their own risk.
