PREVIOUS VISITS

Our visits have been varied, universally interesting and have included theatre visits to Chichester, Guildford and Brighton, garden visits to Saville Gardens and Pashley Manor Gardens, boat trips on both the Wey & Arun canal and the Thames. Our stately home visits have included  Firle House,  Loseley Hall and Chartwell.  Different experiences have included Goodwood, Brooklands, Farnborough aircraft museum, Lloyds of London, Guys Hospital old operating theatre,  Greenwich, St Catherines Hospice and  the Medway Queen. All visits have  included a meal or pub lunch. Our most recent visit was to  Crossness  pumping station,  a cathedral of ironwork, monument to victorian engineering and a very popular filmset!

FORTHCOMING VISITS

Farnborough Aircraft Museum - Tuesday October 8

The visits secretary has been encouraged to facilitate a return to Farnborough Aircraft Museum in October for both those members who weren't able to attend the very popular visit last year, and of course for those who enjoyed it so much they wish to return. If you are interested contact David Cook.

Future visits are being planned including a trip to Chatham Dockyard, Arundel Casle Gardens, Royal Chelsea Hospital and a return to the Chichester festival
